How do I add a site to the directory?

Click on the "Suggest a Site" link you can find in every page of the directory.

At this point you'll be asked to insert the url of your site. This function will check if your site is already present in our directory. If it is not you'll be taken to the final step of the adding process.

Now fill the form with the requested informations. Don't forget to write the summary of your site because that is the first thing people will see when finding your link. Also write some keywords corresponding to your site contents to make the site reachable form the internal search (very important). Choose your site's category carefully; you can select up to 3 different categories.

We recommend you to give us a real email address, so that we can contact you to give important informations about your link and changes in our directory. You will never receive spam from Medicine-Sites.com.


Registration: what is it for?

By registering at Medicine-Sites.com you'll have a personal control panel in which you'll be able to add links to your favorites, write reviews about sites, subscribe to your preferred categories to receive updates, vote links, see other users' profile and communicate with them. Control panel will also show you a list of your submitted sites that you can modify/update every time you want. If you like, you can come into our mailing list and periodically receive special announcements, news and so on.


I forgot my password: what do I do?

You can retreive it by clicking on the Forgot password link situated at the left, in the first menu. Insert your email address in the form and we'll send your password by email.


How do I add a site to Favorites?

You must be registered to Medicine-Sites.com to do it. If you are not registered yet, you can do it clicking here. Then login from the left menu and browse the directory to the site you want to add to your favorites. Click on "Detail" and then on "Add to favorites".


How can I write a Review?

You must be registered to Medicine-Sites.com to do it. If you're not you can do it clicking here. Then login from the left menu and browse the directory to the site you want to review and hit "Detail". Here you'll find the link to write your review.


How can I contact an user?

You can contact any registered user that has written a review in our directory. On the review just click on the username of the reviewer; you'll be brought to a form that will be sent to the user's mailbox. To send messages to Medicine-Sites.com's members you must be registered.


What is "Tell-a-friend"?

This function is useful when you want to invite another person to visit a site. When you fill this form and send it to an email address, the owner of that email will receive by your name a message containing a simple standard invitation, in which is reported the site's url. You can also add a personalized message for your friend if you like to.


What is "Report site"?

Use this if you find an error in some link. You could come to a broken link for example, or you could find some inappropriate content that needs to be checked by our staff.


What is "Subscribe to this category"?

When you subscribe to some category you'll riceive a message in your mailbox every time a new link is added to it or an existing site is updated. You can subscribe to more than one category if you like. You must be registered to the directory to use this feature. Register here.


Rate box: how do I use it?

Our rate box can be used to obtain votes from visitors. Votes are registered and appear immediately under your site description. When you put the rate box in your site remember to change YOUR_LINK_ID with the number corresponding to your site.You can find this ID number before your site's url, by clicking on "Detail" once your site has been added to the directory.
